Education, Support, and Service

The Center for Integrated Care is a 501c(3) non-profit organization based in Seattle, Washington, USA.  We oversee the teaching clinic at the Seattle Institute of East Asian Medicine and serve as a resource for complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) providers and organizations interested in working in underserved communities both in the US and internationally.  The goals of the Center are to:

a) Educate the public through the provision of community classes on health and wellness topics from an East Asian Medicine perspective.

b) Support the professional development of CAM students and professionals who are interested in community health work by providing continuing education courses on public health topics.

c) Service  CAM organizations working with underserved communities by providing a centralized clearing house to assist with raising visibility and increasing support for their work.

We are a private, non-profit independent organization and not affiliated with any other private, public or government entity.

Our Mission

The mission of the Center for Integrated Care is to advance complementary and alternative (CAM) practitioner clinical education in the areas of public health and community wellness within the US and international communities. A primary focus of the Center is to promote clinics and community education projects that support collaborative partnerships between CAM and western health care in order to provide service to communities in need.
