In 2011 Tristan Stoch followed a team of Acupuncture Relief Project volunteer practitioners during their stay at the Vajra Varahi Clinic in Chapagaon, Nepal. In this short film he successfully illustrates many of the complexities of providing primary medical care in a third world environment. The M.Ac. program provides an array of clinical experiences to prepare the graduate for everything from opening a modern private practice in the US to assisting in a rural area in Nepal where there is little to no medical care available. The school provides clinical experiences in community clinic settings, detox facilities, and assisted living clinics. In addition students work at the school’s primary teaching clinic.
