Introduction to the stepping methods of Ba Gua Zhang
This class will introduce the fundamental stepping exercises of Liang Style Ba Gua Zhang, including circle walking and Ding Shi (fixed posture) practice. The footwork exercises and Ji Ben Gong (foundational work) training lay the foundation for future Ba Gua study, and can be practiced as rehabilitative and health exercises on their own. This class is appropriate for all levels of experience; whether this is your first introduction to Chinese Internal Arts, or if you've been practicing for a while- it always comes back to fundamentals.
