In 2016, the Seattle Institute of Oriental Medicine embarked on a new doctoral program. Throughout the entire program, students engage with medical Chinese. To this end, they read material about historical physicians, including Li Dong-Yuan and Zhu Dan-Xi, and material from classical texts.
